Club Coaching Vacancies

As clubs being to ramp up their 2018 campaigns, there are some coaching vacancies around the Downs. All coaches interested in applying are advised to contact the clubs directly.

Dalby Wheatmen

Dalby Rugby Union is currently seeking applications for all coaching and management positions for the 2018 season. 2017 coaches, assistant coaches and team managers are encouraged to apply. Applications are being taken in order to ensure we have the right procedures and processes in place to secure good club governance.

Positions include:
  • Senior Mens – A Grade (Director of Coaching), B Grade and C Grade = Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager
  • Senior Womens 7s = Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager
  • Girls Under 15s 7s = Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager
  • Teenagers – Under 13s, 14s and 15s = Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager
  • Juniors – Under 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, 10s, 11s and 12s = Coach, Team Manager

UQ Gatton Black Pigs

The Gatton Black Pigs RUFC are currently searching for a Lead coach for their 2018 season. The role will begin late February until early September. The coaching role will involve working closely with the club’s executives, planning and running training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday nights, as well as team management for games on Saturdays

Condamine Cods

Condamine Cods Rugby Club is seeking A and/or B grade coaches for the upcoming 2018 season in which they will celebrate their 20th year. The Cods have enjoyed recent success as B Grade Premiers in 2015, B Grade semi-finalists in 2017 and A Grade semi-finalists in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Roma Echidnas

Roma Rugby Union Football Club is now seeking expressions of interest for the position of Head Coach for our 2018 Season. The head coach will ideally have minimum Level 1 accreditation and be willing to progress to level 2. This will be a paid part time position starting in Early February 2018 through to August 2018.
