Senior Representative Staff Appointed

2018 will be one of the biggest for the Darling Downs and Senior and Colts representative sides and will be a big challenge for the coaching panels which sees a mix of new and existing blood.

The Senior side will be again coached by Nathan Bradley, who took them to a South Qld title in 2017 and will be joined by Steve Toohey as his assistant coach. Lindsay Ashby will also form part of the coaching trio as the senior trainer.

The Colts will see no changes in 2018 with Mike Dillon to again lead the coaching staff with Cameron Littleton as his assistant and Mick Jarroush as trainer. Dillon and Littleton will be heading into their 5th year together and will be looking to continue our colts domination of South QLD U19 Rugby.

Downs Rugby's Head of High Performance, Rob Johnston, says "its great to have retained some of our top coaches within the teams as well as have the opportunity to blood some new coaches into our top level".

"Toohey, Dillon and Littleton have all recently completed their Level 2 Coaching Accreditation's, which will only improve the already high standard of professionalism we provide our representative programs" Johnston said.

With the Border Cup, Cattleman's Cup and South QLD champs all being held in the Darling Downs in 2018, it will be a big year for Representative Rugby in the region.
