Volunteer of the Month | UQ Gatton Black Pigs - Ann Bichel
UQ Gatton Black Pigs - Ann Bichel
Ann Bichel started volunteering with the Black Pigs in 2011 and has been an invaluable member ever since. Ann commits to whatever job needs to be done to ensure the boys and their grounds are ready for game day. This may include manning the canteen, keeping club records or taking photos of the matches; you name it, Ann has done it!
Ann is the UQ Gatton Black Pigs volunteer of the month for not only the above reasons but also as she shows unwavering dedication and commitment to the club. She has long been making developments behind the scenes, including completely turning the financial position of the club around. Ann is always happy to sacrifice her time to make sure the committee and club run smoothly and is not only a great help to the club but is a great mate of many players.
Without valuable volunteers like Ann in our community, the Rugby competition would not be able to function fluently week in and week out. Take the time to thank the volunteers in our Rugby community as they are the back bone in our society, just like Ann, in being a dedicated and supportive member of the UQ Gatton Black Pigs.
